Revelation Study

In the following chapters of Revelation, we will observe the church from several different perspectives. Again, this section is an image of the church at work prior to the end times tribulation.

Sleeping church, “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.”

Not all the churches received a rebuke. Some remained faithful.

Today, the city of Sardis is a heap of ruins; it is the only one of the seven churches no longer in existence. Only the small town of Sart remains as a warning to napping Christians.

The Spirit of Jezebel has been around since before God set man in the garden of Eden. Satan used the spirit when he tricked Adam and Eve to eat fruit forbidden to them.It destroyed their innocence.

Christians are disciples of the Master; they are to learn from and follow Him. Not all who claim to be followers, are. “A tree is known by its fruit.”
When persecution comes, these false Christians fold like an Origami butterfly.

In chapters two and three, Jesus transmitted His instructions to the church, the people of God. These chapters are instructions to the seven churches in Asia Minor, but also to the modern church today.

What about the strange guy with white hair, flaming eyes, and a sword coming out of his mouth? Let’s find out.

How does a prisoner smuggle covert information out of his cell without getting caught? Simple. Hide it in plain sight. The Revelation is an unveiling of Jesus for the church to observe.
