Revelation Study

In Revelation 14:20, Satan’s power will line up nose to nose with God’s power one last time. The meeting place will be Megiddo, the valley of Armageddon. Satan has already been defeated on the heaven side of the veil. Armageddon is his last shot.

In chapter fourteen, we are shown a panorama of the history of the battle of good and evil, the devil against God’s people.

Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name.

In the final days, the fields will be white with harvest and many will be brought into the family. God always takes vengeance on our enemies. We’re the apple of His eye. Don’t mess with God’s kids!

The first four seals contain four horses and riders. For many years these have been referred to as the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. But these horses and riders have little to do with the apocalyptic final cleansing of the earth.

Things happening on either side of the veil are quite often mirror images of each other. Here is Satan’s imitation of the divine flood which destroyed mankind in Genesis seven. Noah was a type and shadow of this future event.

The serpent of old, the one who deceived Adam and Eve in the garden, is the one who started the battle for the world and all its people. He is the ultimate loser.
