Carved deep with words of love,
Bless’ed by our Father
In Heaven up above.
Memories of times past
Fly swiftly like a dove.
Battles won, battles lost
Both steal away a love.
On this memorial Day, enjoy your family, beer, and “Q.” I am. But don’t forget those who gave the ultimate sacrifice so you could enjoy them in freedom. As an older veteran, I say; “Don’t thank me. Just become the very best American you can be.”
